DESCRIPTION:The Village of Anmore will hold its annual Municipal Tax Sale on Monday\, September 28\, in accordance with the Local Government Act. Properties with delinquent property taxes that meet the legislative requirements may be offered for sale by public auction. \nThe tax sale is open to the public. Prospective bidders are encouraged to review the applicable provisions of the Local Government Act and conduct their own title searches before participating. \nFor more information about the legislative requirements governing municipal tax sales\, please refer to Division 7 – Annual Municipal Tax Sale of the Local Government Act available online here. \nThe information provided is intended as a general guide. In the event of any inconsistency\, the Local Government Act and other applicable legislation prevail.

DESCRIPTION:If you missed the property tax deadline\, we encourage you to pay your outstanding taxes as soon as possible to avoid an additional penalty. \nA 5% penalty was applied on July 3\, and a further 5% penalty will be applied to any outstanding current taxes on October 1\, 2026 (payment must be received by the Village by Sept 30 to avoid penalty).  \nProperties with delinquent taxes are subject to the annual tax sale process\, scheduled for September 28\, 2026. If you have outstanding taxes or have questions about your account\, please contact the Village or make your payment as soon as possible.
